There have been a lot of discussions and debates about whether or not industrialization has played a vital role in humankind. Some people argue that industrialization has played a pivotal role in humankind, while others don’t. Personally, I think that industrialization has had an overall beneficial effect on humankind for the following three reasons.
Firstly, industrialization contributes to global economic growth. For example, industrialization has increased many various kinds of work, which has led to an increase in a huge amount of profits throughout the world, thus leading to the growth of the world economy.
Secondly, industrialization contributes to science and technology. For instance, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones have been developed by scientists, which has led to the enhancement of quality of life and public safety.
Finally, industrialization will lead to the alleviation of labor shortage. For example, industrialization has required many workers in various fields such as construction, healthcare, and agriculture, which has led to an increase in job opportunities of contingent workers and unemployment.
In conclusion, for the above-mentioned three reasons, its contribution to global economic growth, its contribution to science and technology, and the alleviation of labor shortage, I think that industrialization has had an overall beneficial effect on humankind.
