英検準１級２次試験アドバイス③

昨日、11月7日(日)は2021年第２回英検２次試験でしたが、受験者のみなさん、手ごたえはいかがでしたでしょうか？私も英検準１級２次試験を受験してきました。私が受験した英検準１級２次試験の面接問題の２分間のナレーションについて、下記に記します。（うろ覚えですが、出来る限り書き起こしてみました。）

 

2021年第２回面接A日程

【幼稚園の経営を何とかしたいと考える一人の女性の話】

ある日、幼稚園の事務所に一人の女性がいました。

1.事務所のPCで、出生率が低下しているグラフを見て、何とかしないといけないと考えた。

2.職員会議で、英語と美術の２つのうちどちらを導入しようか、と議論していた。会議参加者の全員が前者に賛成した。

3.数ヶ月後、ある若いネイティブの男性教師が幼稚園にやって来た。その女性は、職員全員が彼を歓迎したことを見て、とても喜んだ。

4.数日後、そのネイティブの男性職員は、園児に英語を教えていたが、園児は全く英語に興味を持たなかった。その女性は、その様子を見て、困惑した。

 

One day, a woman was in the office at the kindergarten. When she was looking at a graph showing that the birthrate was sharply falling, she thought that she should do something to improve the situation.

At the teachers’ meeting, she was discussing two ideas with other teachers. One was introducing an English class, and the other was teaching an art class. All the teachers at the meeting agreed that the former was better.

A few months later, one young male native teacher came to the kindergarten. The woman was very glad [pleased] to see that all the teachers welcomed him.

A few days later, the native teacher was teaching her students English. However, they weren’t interested in English at all. She had mixed feelings. [She was wondering what she had to do next.]

 

英検準１級の２次試験の受験者は30名くらいで、受験層は会場によりけりですが、今回は、見た感じですが、高校生か大学生でした。英検準１級の２次試験対策の参考にしていただければ幸いです。
